Two Saturdays

Nov 28th, Dec 5th 10-4pm

Stones bring a world of color to your jewelry designs. This is a great workshop to practice and expand on your bezel setting skills, including a tube setting technique. Students will make a complete ring or pendant with custom bezel settings during class. Learn the art of bezel setting and tube setting cabochons step by step as we create these beautiful rings or pendants together. We'll also be exploring how to create variations by adding textures.

Students must be familiar with saw piercing and soldering skills. In addition, this course will also go over how to add decorative elements around your setting, like wire elements, handmade bail, and granules. Two styles of ring bands will be demonstrated: a hammered round wire style and a wide band ring formed from sterling sheet.
There is a materials fee of $30-$50 (depending on the stone you choose), payable to the instructors at the beginning of class.
